Everybody loves to include models of run down, old and abused boxcars in their yards. They remove the trucks, give it a good weathering job, maybe add another window or door, and plop them down anywhere. I know real railroads did it all the time, but I think modelers over-do it. However, when I came across this picture of some old MOW boxcars in Colonie Yard (dated September 12, 1978), I realized that it might come in handy for me down the road. I am not sure what eth story with the piece of fence is, but it would make an interesting scene.
